Heroes on the Frontline

Want to feature in a book to look back on in years to come and raise money for NHS Charities Together? All you need to do is write about your experience during the Coronavirus pandemic! You can be as creative or non- creative as you like!

-Maybe your life has changed for the better.

-What have you learnt about yourself or others?

-Has the pandemic highlighted how important something or someone is to you?

Why?

Writing is so powerful it enables us to process our emotions, thoughts, feelings and overcome overwhelm and stress. Writing has proven to have so many benefits. Being able to express how we feel, what we’ve seen and what we mentally cannot switch off from can leave us with a feeling of immense relief, without having to vocalise it to others.

Writing is a safe haven. A coping mechanism.

There are hero’s working in hospitals, the community, in research, supermarkets, the police, fire brigade, fighting to ease the suffering of those battling coronavirus and working together to bring comfort, dignity and support for patients, families and communities.

We continue to fight this virus on a daily basis. It is the experiences of these everyday heroes that continue to provide care and support to thousands of people, risking their own lives for the benefit of others.

So for any of you reading this right now, I invite you to share your unique story with the nation.
